This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impressive, and it should be checked by whoever looks after the business before the site goes live.

What we collect
If you fill in the quote form we collect your name, your telephone number, your email address if you give one, your postcode or nearest village, the type of work you are asking about and whatever you write in the message box.
The website also records the internet address the form was sent from. That is used to stop automated spam and nothing else.
What we do with it
We use it to reply to you and to price the job. It is emailed to us and stored in the website so that an enquiry is not lost if an email goes astray. We do not sell it, share it with anybody for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are useful, which is normally as long as we might reasonably be asked to come back to a job we quoted for. If you want yours deleted, ask us and we will remove it.
The map
The Areas We Cover page shows a map of the area we work in. The map images come from OpenStreetMap, so when the map appears on your screen your browser asks their servers for them and they can see your internet address, as any website you visit can. Nothing is loaded until you scroll down to the map, and no cookies are set by it.
Cookies and measurement
This website sets no tracking cookies of its own. If you log in to the website as an administrator, WordPress sets cookies to keep you logged in.
REVIEW BEFORE LAUNCH: if Google Analytics is switched on under Business details, this section needs updating to say so, and a cookie notice will be required. With analytics left switched off, no notice is needed.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Ring or email and we will deal with it.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
